Real Estate Brokerage Book Keeper/Property Mgr

Commercial Real Estate brokerage and investment firm seeks qualified full charge book keeper for day to day accounting operations, property management, and green consulting business. Must have min 4 years previous experience and college graduates preferred. Strong knowledge of GAAP mandatory and background in finance a bonus. Duties will include AR, AP, G/L, bank reconciliations, forecasting, quarterly P & Ls, end of year taxes and budgeting. Microsoft office program proficiency mandatory and computer literacy required. Must be thoroughly proficient and formally trained in quickbooks within the past 3 years. Position will be part time to full time and compensation will depend on experience and qualifications.

Interns (unpaid)

Metro 1 Properties will pay 100% of real estate school education courses with an internship commitment and will work closely with your institution’s guidelines and requirements to obtain college credit. This is a great and rare opportunity to gain experience and knowledge in the real estate industry.

Candidates will be quick learners, self-starters and able to adapt to a professional office setting. Interns will assist with the marketing of the company’s entire portfolio. Interns will also help research demographic, property and informational data pertaining to residential and commercial real estate. Interns will also assist with many other duties, such as grassroots marketing campaigns, maintaining and implementing databases, agent recruiting and networking projects, contract coordination and general office assignments/errands.
